Please join us for the 7x24 Florida/Alabama Second Quarterly 2022 Chapter Meeting to be held at Florida Power & Light (FPL) in West Palm Beach, Florida!

When: Tuesday, May 17, 2022 @ 10:00am.

Dear Chapter Members,

We're excited to announce that our next chapter meeting will be held at Florida Power & Light (FPL). Florida Power & Light Company is the largest energy company in the U.S. as measured by retail electricity produced and sold. The company serves more than 5.6 million customer accounts supporting more than 11 million residents across Florida with clean, reliable and affordable electricity. We are expecting a full turnout, but registration is limited to the first 45 registrants so please don't wait until the last minute to register.

Below, you will see that we have a full agenda lined up and a tour of the facility afterwards. The FPL Distribution Control Center (DCC) is a state-of-the-art, Category 5-rated building that enhances FPL’s abilities to respond to natural disasters, as well as efficiently monitor thousands of smart devices and other equipment 24/7 to reduce outages when they occur. We hope that you will stay on for this incredible tour.

Please encourage data center operators, IT professionals and others in your organization to attend.

Please take note: For safety reason and according to FPL's current COVID-19 Regulations, a week or 2 prior to the event all registered attendees will be sent a Covid-19 questionnaire that must be answered and returned NLT Friday prior to the event.
